[For someone who claims not to look at their phone much, she's been getting an awful lot of texts in the past few hours from Sugane reminding her that it's cold in Hokkaido and asking if she remembered her scarf and so on and so forth. She's been spamming him with emoji in response, just because it's cute when he gets frustrated like that. He'd originally insisted on coming with her when she'd told him that she was going to visit friends to drop off some art supplies they'd asked her to buy for them in Tokyo, all puffed up and serious about how she was a public figure now, but she'd just laughed and said she'd be fine.
She wasn't alone, anyway.]

We're just having a look around! I've never been to an agricultural school before and neither have you! I bet there are animals. Don't you wanna go see if we can find the animals?
[Hachiken is running around, talking to one student then another. It's been a very busy day outside of classes, but at the moment, he needs to walk Vice President.
He lets his mind wander as he trails along, being pulled by a little dog that has a little coin collector on his collar marked 'snacks'.
Vice President is very friendly, so naturally he steers Hachiken towards Hajime, giving a little bark for a greeting.]
-"Oh, hello." THAT'S HIS LINE? Suuuuuper ultra meeeeega turboneeeeeeeerd.-
[Honestly, if Katze hadn't bothered to make his thoughts on the boy walking the dog known, Hajime probably wouldn't even have looked up. The doggy was so excited after all! The boy himself...not so much. She gives him a big smile anyway.]
Hi! Is this your doggy? He's really cute! I just wanna squish him!
Nope! You gotta know where you're going before you can be lost! I'm supposed to go back to the train station, but that seems like such a waste of time when I could be going to see all the farm animals instead.
[The girls she'd come to visit had chores or something farm student-y to do, so they hadn't had time to show her around. Not that that was a problem, because she could always show herself around.]
[Someone calls his name, "Hachiken!" which causes him to pause and turn to look. The boy asks a dumb question and he answers it cheerfully enough, before turning his attention back to her.]
I apologize for my rudeness. We're having a festival tomorrow and everyone's busy getting ready for that.
I'm not sure it's that kind of festival. Our festival is mostly about showcasing the farm animals and the products the school produces as well as demonstrations from the various clubs, all of which are physical education clubs.
[Hachiken nudges his glasses up his nose and Vice President circles his feet.]
[Really, Hajime is of the mind that you can decorate for anything.]
You should try, so you could enjoy it. You don't look like you're having any fun.
[He really doesn't. He looks tired and worn out and his description of the festival sounds like something out of some boring newsletter instead of how a high school boy should be talking about a school festival.]
Oh it's going to be really fun tomorrow. Everything's going to be ready then! It's really a better time to come. Now everything's all chaotic. I have to check the Ban'ei track myself.

[The whole way, Hajime has been babbling and cooing over all the animals. She hasn't really had any questions, since "LOOK AT YOU! YOU'RE A COW!" has been about the extent of her scientific knowledge of farm animals. She's quite enthusiastic about the whole thing, though.]
You'd have to like it wouldn't you! It must be great to get to see all of these animals every day! I live in Tachikawa in Tokyo, so the most I usually see are pigeons!

[The fight with Katze was a lot worse then Rui expected. He was sure he could take the alien, he had to try, but in the end it was a complete failure. He'd been saved by the Gatchaman of all people, the people he wanted to stop being heroic.
What a mess that was. What's worse is that Katze came back and stole his NOTE, and now Rui didn't know what to do.
He had to do something, so he set out on a search for the Gatchaman. It wasn't hard to find them since they were doing interviews at a daycare. Rui approached the daycare but hung around in the shadows. Now what?]
